where your healing starts
Meet Sunny

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Play Therapist with over 12 years of experience walking alongside individuals and families as they navigate life’s challenges. I am passionate about helping people heal from trauma, manage anxiety, anger and depression, process grief, and find hope during seasons of change. I founded Sunny Days Ahead Counseling with a desire to create a space where individuals feel understood, supported, and encouraged toward growth and restoration.
I have experience working with children, teens and adults. I currently offer Telehealth therapy for teens and adults, along with one-on-one parent consultations and in-person parent seminars. I earned my counseling degree from Dallas Theological Seminary, where I developed an integrative approach that values both clinical insight and the Christian faith. I welcome clients from both faith-based and non-faith backgrounds. My therapeutic approach draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and a Person-Centered perspective, creating a supportive and collaborative space where clients can discover their true selves and experience greater freedom in their lives.
